Drain

Leak Detection & Repairin Williamstown & South Jersey

A stain on the ceiling, a meter that keeps ticking with everything off, a wall that is damp for no reason. We find where it is actually coming from before anything gets opened up.

Drain · What we do

How do you find a leak without tearing the wall open?

Leak detection is locating the source of a leak before opening anything, so the repair is the smallest opening it needs rather than a guess. Water travels - the stain on the ceiling is often nowhere near the pipe that is failing - so opening the wall under the stain frequently means opening the wrong wall. We track it to the real source first, then repair it.

That order matters because it is the difference between one tidy patch and a row of holes. Once we find it, we make the repair and put the surface back, and if the leak is a symptom of pipe that is on its way out, we tell you that too rather than patching the same spot twice.

  • Ceiling, wall and floor stains
  • Slab and under-floor leaks
  • Running meter with fixtures off
  • Supply-line and fixture leaks
  • Locating first, opening second
  • Repair and surface put back
How it goes

From a damp spot to a dry one

Locate it, fix it, and know whether it was a one-off.

  1. 1

    Show us the sign

Text where the stain, damp or drip is and when you first noticed it. A photo of the spot and, if you can, the meter reading helps us come in with a plan.

  2. 2

    We locate the source

We track it to where the water is actually coming from before opening anything, so the repair is the smallest opening it needs.

  3. 3

    Fix and honest read

We repair it, put the surface back, and tell you if the pipe behind it is failing rather than just patching the visible spot.

Questions

Leak questions we get asked

Straight answers, including the ones people would rather not hear.

How much does leak detection cost in South Jersey?

It depends on how hidden the leak is - an accessible supply line under a sink is a smaller job than a slab leak that has to be tracked across a room. Tell us the signs you are seeing and we will give you a real number before coming out, not a surprise on the invoice.

Can you really find it without opening the wall?

That is the whole point of detection - locating it first so that when something does get opened up it is the smallest opening the repair needs rather than a guess under the stain, which is often the wrong wall entirely.

My water meter moves with everything off. What does that mean?

A meter that ticks with every fixture shut off almost always means water is leaving the system somewhere you cannot see - a supply line, a slab, or a fixture that is passing. That is exactly the call to make before it finds drywall or a foundation.

Do you fix the leak or just find it?

Both. We locate it and repair it, and we put the surface back. If the leak is a sign the pipe itself is failing, we will tell you what a real fix looks like instead of patching the same spot again.

Drain it. Fix it. Finish it.

Tell us what you are seeing and where, and we will find where the water is actually coming from.

  • I was pleasantly surprised when Mike replied to my email on a Saturday. Many companies sort of avoid small jobs. Not Mike! He replaced my garbage disposal and cleared couple of drains, explaining everything as he went along. Made time to fix a dishwasher issue while he was there. So friendly and capable, I'm looking into a few other jobs for him. 100% recommend!
