Fix

Handyman Workin Williamstown & South Jersey

The list that has been on the fridge since spring. Doors that stick, trim that split, the thing that needs mounting - small jobs most outfits will not drive out for.

Fix · What we do

What counts as a handyman job?

Handyman work is the run of small jobs around a house that are each too small to call a specialist for but add up to a list you never get to - sticking doors, split or missing trim, a wobbling railing, things that need mounting or anchoring, hardware that has given up. We do them in one visit instead of five separate service calls.

The value is not any single task, it is knocking out the whole list in one trip with one person who does it properly. And if something on the list turns out to be bigger than a handyman fix - a real electrical issue, a leak behind the wall - we tell you straight rather than bodging it.

  • Doors that stick or will not latch
  • Trim, molding and baseboard
  • Mounting: TVs, shelves, fixtures
  • Railings, hardware and anchoring
  • Drywall patches and touch-ups
  • The half-done job someone left
How it goes

From a long list to a short one

Send the list, get it done in a visit, no drama.

  1. 1

    Send the whole list

Text everything on it, photos and all. Seeing the full list lets us bring the right tools once and knock it out in a single trip.

  2. 2

    One visit, done right

We work the list in one visit, properly, rather than stretching it across separate calls.

  3. 3

    Flag anything bigger

If something is actually an electrical or plumbing job hiding as a handyman task, we tell you straight instead of bodging it.

Where we work

The rest of the Fix side

When it is more than a quick fix

Some list items are really their own job. These are the next two.

Fix is one of three sides. We also clear and repair drains under Drain and handle full remodels, tile and flooring under Finish — same phone number, same person.

Questions

Handyman questions we get asked

Straight answers, including the ones people would rather not hear.

Is there a minimum for handyman work?

The honest economics are that one tiny task is rarely worth the drive for either of us, which is why we are built around the list - send everything on the fridge and we make one trip worth it instead of charging you for a five-minute visit.

How much does a handyman visit cost?

It depends on the length of the list and what is on it. Send the whole list with photos and we will give you a real number up front rather than an hourly meter running while you watch.

Do you do the small jobs bigger companies turn down?

Yes - that is exactly the point of the Fix side. The jobs most outfits will not drive out for are the ones that pile up, so those are the ones we are set up to clear.

What if a job on my list is bigger than it looks?

We tell you. If a sticking door is really a framing issue, or a flickering light is a real electrical problem, you will hear that straight rather than having it patched over.

Drain it. Fix it. Finish it.

Send us the whole fridge list, and we will knock it out in one visit.

  • I was pleasantly surprised when Mike replied to my email on a Saturday. Many companies sort of avoid small jobs. Not Mike! He replaced my garbage disposal and cleared couple of drains, explaining everything as he went along. Made time to fix a dishwasher issue while he was there. So friendly and capable, I'm looking into a few other jobs for him. 100% recommend!
